Taylor Galvin
She works with all types of OCD, including presentations complicated by trauma, and also treats body-focused repetitive behaviors such as skin picking and hair pulling. Her approach integrates evidence-based modalities including EMDR, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Level 2 training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy, and certification in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I) through Stanford University, allowing her to tailor treatment to each client’s unique needs and goals.
Clients often describe her as warm, friendly, upbeat, and genuinely invested in their growth. She balances compassion with gentle challenge, and hopes therapy feels like having a relatable and understanding personal cheerleader in your corner — someone who believes in your ability to do hard things while walking alongside you through the process.
She finds working with OCD especially meaningful because she believes learning to sit with uncertainty is a key ingredient in unlocking presence, freedom, and joy in life. Her work focuses on helping clients loosen the grip of fear and compulsions so they can move toward lives guided by intention, values, and self-trust.
She currently practices in person in Los Angeles and offers telehealth services throughout California.
