Wibecke Stromsnes

Dr. Stromsnes received her doctorate degree in counseling psychology at the University of the Pacific and she is registered with the California Board of Psychology as a psychological associate. She is an associate member of the National Register of Health Service Psychologists. Her primary interest is specializing in treating OCD and anxiety disorders. Before beginning her doctoral training she received a dual bachelor’s degree in psychology and human development from the University of Kansas in 1999 and a master’s degree in psychology from University of the Pacific in 2003. She completed an internship in neuropsychology at the University of Bergen hospital clinic and became a licensed psychologist in Norway in 2009. She has over 12 years experience in the mental health field with a wide range of mental health disorders, including Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Major Depressive Disorder, Bipolar Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Body Dysmorphic Disorder, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Psychotic Disorders and Personality Disorders. Her background is in residential treatment for adolescents and community-based treatment for adults with severe mental illness.
